friday - the verve
saturday - rage against the machine
sunday - REM
not a bad lineup
genuinely enjoy music still go to T in the Park? I gave up on it a few years ago. There are so many other festivals with better line ups and less neds.
exactly why I don't go. Some of my friends got soaked in urine last time they were there (not by choice).
sorry, sounds grim.
last year so might go back this year. Promising start might wait and see what the rest of the line up is, although it will sell out fast tomorrow.
The only festival i am at all vaguely excited about is Connect.
walking around titp is like walking around sauchiehall street, but with mud and shit music to annoy you more
It was pretty immense last year and I desperately want to go back.
line-up was announced mid-April last year, so keep checking that.
Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Biffy, Aphex Twin, Stereophonics... I hope oxegen has a similar line up!
Never been and fancy a bit of a change.
Still....not convinced it's worth parting money for. Rather take a chance on Glasto.
Rage Against The Machine
Kings Of Leon
The Chemical Brothers
Panic At The Disco
Reverend and The Makers
Band of Horses
Sons and Daughters
The Ting Tings
Sons of Albion
but they sell out fast these days.
the Saturday line-up. so random.
Rage Against The Machine
a better line-up than usual. There's 12 or 13 acts I'd like to see there, whereas in previous years it's been more like 1 or 2
apart from that amazing one a few years back that had Pixies and Massive Attack (and should've had Bowie, before he pulled out).
All my friends are going to oxegen, because of this I want to go, but the line-up looks to be seriously awful. It will be very similar to t in the park, but so far the only bands i would see are
R.E.M. not do anything for ya?
Never tried, but i think they sound pretty dull. Might just be to massive overplaying of their 'hits'.
I can't stand Everybody Hurts and Nightswimming. Meh. If I'm going to Oxegen bang goes the PS3/360 I was saving up for :/
Rage, REM, Kings Of Leon, Prodigy, Biffy, Hot Chip, Justice, Band Of Horses, Lightspeed Champion and Black Kids
however i've seen half of them before and i'm 95% sure i'll see them all some other time this year. hmm.
buying a Saturday day ticket to either a) flog if Rage actually Do play Reading or b) use if Rage Don't play Reading..
but now that RATM and Interpol have been confurmed for this are they likely to play other festivals aswell i.e. Reading?
but i have a feeling V is the only festival with that sort of agreement.
Let down by:
a) one of the worst bands of all time playing Saturday
b) the fact its a loser festival full of dicks, walking around in T shirts saying: "WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT GLASTONBURY WHEN YOU'VE GOT T?" - and they ain't ironic.
for my money, are playing on the saturday, rage against the machine not being one of them.
"loser festival full of dicks..." would indicate you've been before?
were you one of those dicks?
you are joking right?! if not, your humour has failed over the years!
