kind of 80s ..cure,smiths,echo and the bunnymen, maybe shoegazy ish also...
be nice x
indeed. definetly see the influences, but in no way copycat-ish. really enjoyed it.
your a nice man arent you. xxx
I first heard Razorlight have I been so appalled by a band, a truly hideous mix of bland melodies, unimaginative chord sequences and dull lyrics.......
Only joking, I actually enjoyed it also as jono_key mentioned you can see the influences but you are out to just copy. I would listen to some more of your stuff should you post more on myspace. Good stuff!
you had me worried then you shite :)
'Sounds a bit like Oasis'
'Vocals are a bit high'
'Tell you what the bloke can sing'
'You can't really hear what he's saying'
'I like it'
'It's like a chill out song after being down the pub' (not sure how he knows this...)
truth dude truth ..
this sort of spamming i'm ok with.
The music is not my thing.
I really like it...I actually think it's the first time I've listened to a band I haven't heard before on MySpace that doesn't have at least a few things that are fucking awful about it (terrible lyrics or guitar solo, generic singer, generic or boring music are the usual culprits). The fact that I wanted to listen to the second song sets it apart from the aforementioned.
i was forced to click and listen, expecting to be around for a matter of seconds
listened to both tracks, all the way fricking through
great stuff, keep up the good work guys
im really touched..your a tough ol' crew on here... glad you liked it and if any of you can make it to gigs then great! made me all smiley now x
Can definitely hear the Idlewild in there. I quite liked the guitar work in places.
but not in a bad way
But it tends sometimes to a bit MOR "epic" rock...
single too! , we mates now ? x
And it's not especially a bad thing, but I would like it more if you go more on the shoegaze/postpunk side...
we are alittle more postpunk live but suppose these are close to singles and we need them to get where we want to be ... x
This is pretty good isn't it!
It is so nice to hear something good when I saw 'be nice x' I was prepared for shite...
it is ace!
the comments and the honesty.. x
like i said i appreciate the honesty..
I expected that cunt Bono to come in and sing something banal about how he still couldn't find out what a beautiful day it was.
After 32 seconds, I wished it had been Bono.
oh well. we share in the fact i also think bono is cunt.
can i be your friend?
the vocalist sounds very Marc Almond-like which is no bad thing.
First track sounded too much like Editors if I'm honest.
Definitely one of the better bands with stuff available on MySpace though.
in your influences is courageous...
I've just been listening to them after seeing them at the weekend and think they're pretty fucking good.
Really have difficulties with the vocals...
Than the intro, which gave me very, very, very low expectations. I like the vocals, they remind me of Blonde Redhead for some reason...the sound quality's not that great. A lot of the music is indistinguishable.
A little better than average.
the poster artwork!
i hate bands who think theyre fucking poetic and that but cant play guitar and only slowly when they can do it
has no effect on their poetry, as far as I know.
listened to a few songs. Quite boring. sorry.
for all the comments, bit scary sticking your music on here.. but glad some people liked it :)
It's not bad but I'm personally really into the songs on offer. Ah got it, you sound like Morrissey but unfortunately Morrissey of 15 years ago.
much more than i normally would for a band of this genre
keep up the good work
Good sound - great vocals - clear influences but remains original. Fancy a gig sometime in MK this summer?
forgive me but MK ? where that? thankyou very much by the way! xxxx
pm me with details if you like :)
...long forgotten late nineties shoegazers Geneva.
a compliment x
argh glad you like some of it though haha
i'm 90% sure i've seen you but i have no idea where.
oh and i like it btw.
not sure mate.. we have played a few places so could be anywhere...glad you liked though!
dont know him... then again im not the drummer.. hope you enjoyed it too
