Playing the Scala in London tomorrow night. Can't wait!
Anyone been to see them on tour these past few days?
cant wait, so excited about this. manchester orchestra have been stunning live whenever ive seen them and i keep hearing a lot of good stuff about anathallo live. should be a good gig
I haven't seen Manchester Orchestra play, having got into their album about a year too late, so really looking forward to seeing them tonight
at the cockpit on monday night, was incredible :D
now that you're home and where did you go are truly epic. espesh' the later as the encore song. there were moments when he was singing alone without the band and you could hear a pin drop. i so hope the crowd don't spoil it on their other dates (not that they did at leeds, just saying like')
like that for manchester orchestra at there own gigs over here. its actually pretty spine chilling at times
tickets on the door.
So you should be fine
Anathallo are on at 8.30, for anyone who's coming to see them later?
i want to see anathallo more than Manchester orchestra really so i'll be there!
anathallo were STUNNING.
manchester orchestra were very good.
supporting also in Brighton - worth getting there early for ?
...which I do!
Probably should have gone to this gig. I got the Manchester Orchestra and Anathallo albums last year and they are both pretty good. The artwork for Anathallo is quite beautiful.
Anathallo's stageshow is brilliant, really looking forward to seeing more of it at Water Rats next week
Manchester Orchestra were good too, although I was too tired and hungry to appreciate them properly, and left before they finished. Will give them a proper watch in Brighton Monday
manchester orchestra were superb, not quite as good as kings college mind and whoever that annoying drunk bastard was on the left who kept talking during everything really loud - i hate you so does pretty much everyone else i spoke to in there. grrr
was impressed with anathallo really looking forward to water rats - a hour of them should be rather ace
next tuesday ^
Surrounded are also playing. Haven't got their Myspace link to hand but their new album is really good. They're from Sweden which makes them awesome by default
bought tickets last night.
one sour note last night was getting a junior large t-shirt instead of an adult large t-shirt from the anathallo guitar guy! i wonder if i can swap it on tuesday...what do you think kev?? :D
They won't mind doing that
will bring the offensive article to the water rats :D
I'll be on my own so everyone talk to me please.
I think everyone would definitely talk to you! I'd love to see him rocking out at a gig
Probably more into The Hold Steady.
I've met you before though. I went to a gig in Brixton to see House Of Brother and I believe it was your birthday. My girlriend did some PR stuff for you - I think.
I remember very few people or things from that night unfortunately!
I spoke to you briefly before the gig about some wrestling that you had been watching.
Good stuff on getting Anathallo on your label. Try and get Division Day and Get Him Eat Him so that they play this country.
That sounds about right. You only turn 24 once!
I'll check those bands out now
Anathallo were stunning last night. Any chance of getting them to play Holiday at the Sea, Entropy or any songs off Sparrows on their remaining dates. New songs are Brilliant aswell like.
at Water Rats on Tuesday. They have just under an hour set that night
a friend of mine emailed the band and they said they had worked on a shorter version of holiday for this tour, maybe it didnt work out.
shame their set is so short tomorrow. what has their set been so far?
Great Wind more Ash, Dokkoise House, Kasa no Hone, Nonis Field, two more new tunes that have been up on Youtube for a while.
Was a good crowd so hopefully they will be coming back to play more headline slots. Mr BSM?
thats really not a good set for me...
the two new songs are yet to grab me, and kasa no hone is album filler really.
i'd kill for scary berries...
im sure they will be amazing to watch. lets hope so!
If I had my way they'd be back in May for ATP and a headline tour, but no invite so far. I'm sure we'll see them again sometime this year
how much we talking?
