Robyn's album for me. Every one is a pop gem.
is ace. I've seen it described as "Afro-kraut", which sounds ridiculous but fits the music quite nicely.
Never got into them earlier in their career. my friend played me stuff by loads of bands, and they were one of them but I just didn't quite get it. And in fairness when I bought Lets Stay Friends I still didn't get it. Then after about a week of trying to crack the nut - I definitley get it!
Wincing the Night Away. I avoided it because it had wincing in the title. Why would I want to listen to that? I was wrong.
it's brilliant. i don't know why i didn't get it last year.
I've had it for a while but it's only recently hooked me.
Load Blown- just bought it and love it all the sounds whirring round my head. Can't wait til March to see them now.
It's fucking amazing. I'd always listened to In A silent Way instead before, but I can't stop listening to BB this week.
after his name popping up a lot, and listening my way through the Pitchfork ATP lineup, I've really fallen in love with this album. And it's 2006, but I can't stop listening to Charlotte Gainsbourg's album.
sorry should have read the thread title properly.
we value your contribution.
very nice, a MBV-feel to it.
well, i don't have the album yet but i did nick the 6 tracks from it they have on myspace and i'm liking them a lot
And boy am I glad I revisited!
Live 1974 album, it's amazing. One of the best Krautrock records I've heard.
