Gig clash of epic ball-ache proportions tonight. Basically, which would you regret not seeing the least?
then you can see MV & EE in summer at Rowf! Rowf! Rowf!
all of my friends are either playing at, or going to, MV/EE. Plus I saw them when they played last time at the bowling green. Plus they're doing Rowf as you pointed out.
But I'm not in the mood for being a loner. Plus £12 for a night in Hulme!!
IT'S EARTH!!!!I would be going but agreed to Justice with a friend a while back. Voluntarily chosing not to see them would be a crime. Plus I'm pretty sure there's a few friendly dissers heading there.
I might never get the chance to see them again. Rough luck having to see Justice instead
probably rather see Justice, seeing Earth go in that new direction and whatnot.
I saw MV/EE at Thurston's ATP, and while I like the bits I'd heard on record, live it was snore-inducing hippy rubbish.
Whereas Earth are one of the greatest bands in history. No contest really.
defo.i'm going.and you can see mv and ee in the summer at rowf! or at primavera.plus they were the best band at nbc atp
Earth me thinks. I also had this dilemma but listening to the new Earth album today made the decision for me.
yes it is.
all the coolest DiSers are going to MV&EE.
saw them the last time they palcyed here. But that could be a vicious rumour.
then see MV/EE.
They were brilliant in Cambridge, although opinion seems divided on their live show.
MV/EE are hippy wanking music.
Earth are just great.
hence the tough decision. But I think Earth win this particular round
Hulme isn't that bad. They are playing the same gig in Newcastle and MV/EE will be joyous even if they aren't very good because my friend will doubtless whine on about them being wanky hippy nonsense.
Plus Earth have a second guitar player called Milky now. Milky! And their set in December was mindblowingly good.
i'd go too earth, too. if i pass my driving test this weekend and am feeling brave i'm going to watch 'em in birmingham on monday night ....
at the Luminaire. It was a load of balls-gash.
they were pretty rubbish in manchester as well.
I left early..
and i also missed kling klang and quack quack in leeds. but i did play a gig in sheffield so i have a very good excuse. if i was here i would have gone to earth though. didn't think much of mv&ee last time they were over
someone did mention that to me. ah well. doesn't change much. either way, i didn't see them
