Ben Esser last friday at the Old Blue Last for me.
I havent seen them for about 2 months but they're playing Tommy Flynns in camden on the 13th
I can't wait
opened for akron/family at troubadour (la) few months ago.
Great SF 2 man band: blusier White Stripes-ish sound. I thought they were better than the headline act.
craine. Well, technically - they're not unsigned now :)
I went to the future and saw it, it was great.
good unsigned band i saw
And going to see him tomorrow at White Heat.
Also amazing are Lovvers. The foursome are a much needed kick up the arse this 'scene' sorely needs.
I'd say Kontakte who were really good at the Windmill last week.
I'm seeing 4 or 5 Magicians tomorrow, so that may change.
I can see it potentially changing four times in the course of one night...
But I'm also seeing Laura Hocking on Sunday as well, so it may well be short lived. :)
seriously amazing band.
at the plastic dinosaur in middlesbrough
was totally mint when i saw him last.
he blew the roof off when i saw him. the crowd were proper pumped up by the end.
this jam on bread guy had ukulele solos that richie sambora could only dream of. and man, that laser show alone was worth the £23 i paid for my ticket.
turd on a cracker
was still being helped into his spandex jumpsuit by the time staind finished their set. that's what it said in total rock magazine anyway.
i don't suppose you can remember the fella's myspace address can you? it's clean slipped my mind.
it's www.myspace.com/jamonbreadyay. there's some big tunes on there, i tell you.
(www.myspace.com/myelvisblackout) were good as ever at one of the Red Stripe Award gigs last week.
It means 'unsigned'.
both the bands I play in have 7"s coming out, but we've never (and will never) sign a "record contract"...
doesn't that prove how ridiculous a concept it is?!
people on here asking 'wuts yr fave MYSPACE band?!?!?!'
your posts don't get enough recognition
Very much 'unsigned' and produce the kind of music that when seen live, can make the hair's on the back of your neck stand up!
Seriously good and they're supporting Slow Club in Reading, in a couple of wks.
for me folks
