Probably bollocks, but someone has added them as the support for the Manchester date on last.fm
oh man, if that's true...
Owners of the 4pm slot at a festival near you
...meanwhile back in communist russia
The Bigger The God
I would explode.
also, i definitely remember reading somewhere official that it was NOT going to be a full day of acts. just yr usual support or two and then radiohead.
with two, pretty hefty support slots, beck & deerhoof.
if i were Radiohead I would not want to be associated the sad debacle of their former selves the SPs have become, no f*ing way.
i wasn't a fan previously but i loved every moment of their Reading headline set.
wouldn't work at a huge big gig. they need a nice small venue with things to climb on and a nearby audience to scare.
appear to have done a Google search and brought up the line-up for their Oxford South Park gig of (I think) 2001, which I attended.
talking about Duke Ellington is one of my favourite support act memories.
if they'll take some hometown chums with them like Foals/Youthmovies, low down the bill obviously! I'm hoping Mum will support - but they might not work in a big open space
recent blog says 'exciting tour news to come soon', but I very much doubt they're supporting Radiohead!!!
but who knows....!
supported the Pumpkins back in '93
seems to be that they're supporting Foals on tour instead.
Deerhoof again. When they played in 2006 I missed them as we didn't know they were on before Beck. Curses.
I had a feeling it might be Battles or Four Tet or something, although Four Tet's been done before.
but someone big, I mean BIG, was mentioned as Los Angeles support on local radio. Could've been SP. I can't remember.
I've never seen Radiohead live, so maybe I should go. Maybe.
and CANNOT wait for the Manchester date.
I'd rather SP's weren't supporting, they were okay at Leeds but Corgan should really knock it on the head now.
