today. what would you suggest?
Best genre ever?
I more meant suggestions as to what, specifically, I might want to listen to. But yes, it's great. I love it. It was my baby music when I was... well, a baby.
Also, I feel obliged to point out the humor in someone whose username is SCROTUM having Motown as his favorite genre. There, pointed.
you canny beat a bit of stevie wonder!
i so will
(haha just like i will get around to applying for the dorm that i need in only two months... what i am saying is i'd love to only don't hold me to it)
well if you do for some strange reason find yourself putting 60+ mins of motown on a cd, let me know :)
then i don't ever want to be normal
since you're American you might be in the best position to find rarer treasures in record shops. Motown seems to just come in obvious compilations here. Web research is the only way you'll get anything beyond Baby Love, Chain Reaction, Bernadette, mon cherie amour etc etc.
What sort of a world do we live in?

Wow, I just put this on, the verses are actually the best thing!

Best Motown song.

Clean up woman - Betty Wright
Ball of Confusion by The Temptations has just started playing .I'm positive that iTunes shuffle is psychic...
They were like the rough-sounding ones, but were still brilliant.
They're favourites at Northern Soul evenings too.
'Just A Little Misunderstanding' or 'First I Look At The Purse'.
