Help Finding A Song

Darcy [Edit] [Delete] 54 replies 15:16, 2 June '05
can anyone help me find a suitable song for a mood video for bananas please?!!

the criteria are as follows;

tropical, energy, vibrant, not latin, foreign, appealing to broad audience

NOT latin is important - steel drums and carribean flavours are cool...but failing that just an uplifting summery song - at one point the client was thinking of using "walking on sunshine" !

cheers all

      He's actually a banana, and he needs something to listen to in the bath. That's what it means.

      "are you trying to advertise bananas?"

      well, sort of. Its for a marketing company that does research for brands. This mood video will help express how the brand will be presented.

      • Re: Help Finding A Song

        There's a track on the Broken Social Scene album called Pacific Theme that might work. It doesn't have any words and is quite laid back, but it's definitely tropical.

    • Re: Help Finding A Song

      Hmmm interesting John - but probably too latin. Its gotta lean more towards carribean although I'm starting to just think of good summer feel good music as well - Bob Marley, Beach Boys for example.

      This is not an easy one!

        • Re: Help Finding A Song

          Ladyoftheflowers - this is one thing I occaisionally do at work. I work for a Multimedia company that basically handles digital marketing for companies (websites, cd-roms, viral email yadd, yadda).

          One of our clients is a market research/marketing company and they do this sort of thing quite alot. They do stuff for beer companies, cosmetics - all kinds. Bananas is one of the funnier ones for sure!
