Your favourite 'emo' song.

lemonbrickcombo [Edit] [Delete] 73 replies 14:50, 15 January '08

I'm going to say either Five, Eight and Ten by Mineral or In Circles by Sunny Day Real Estate.

I just love that plucked intro to Five, Eight and Ten.

I know this thread has been done before, but I've been listening to far too much of this stuff to not post about it.

infact the whole of Diary is amazing

      • It's the best album ever made.

        That's a solidgoldfact.

Actually, this might be a good thread. I love SDRE: what else should I be listening to? I shall take recommendations from this thread and either wilfully ignore them or make some informed purchases.

but they aren't as good as some other stuff. Maybe they're less immediate and I need to devote some more time to them. I only have The Age of Octeen which I'm told is their weaker album.

Absinthe Party..... by Minus The Bear could qualify as emo, it's definitely a bit emo-fied. If that makes any sense. If it counts then thats a great song.
