Which should i go and see in february on the same night?
i will take your advice. any cases against enon?
(*reports gareth to the Arts and Crafts secret police*)
'post rock' phase?
Vallet of G's+ Most serene Republics 1st album on the label + First 2 BSS albums= genuinely good stuff.
Stars are more in the realm of 'band I loved, don't so much any more, but would still go see for old times sake'. Enon I know little about but like the drummer for 'holy fuck' and '77 Boadrum' reasons.
nicely placed in quotation marks for future use btw.
I chose them over Camera Obscura/Twilight Sad and EITS.
I think this what the correct choice but time will tell.
what you described pretty much sounds like some of the better gigs ive been to.
I thought Ill ease was dull last time i saw her.
im hoping to do both, will be possible with Stars finishing at 10.
i can imagine Stars being a lot better live than Enon. and you can join me for a drink before innit
its all the way up the mansfield road and presumably enon will be on about 5 mins after stars finish. but probably worth catching the last hour.
i'd think enon would be on around 10:15-10:30. its totally doable.
Stars is my first choice though.
And it be on your head.
i'll text you nearer to the time n ting
having never sampled the rare delight of springheel jack with j spaceman at venn festival.
I think that pretty much sums up how I felt about them the night before, but I like their music, and I guess you don't, so I guess that's the difference.
there live show is rather good :)
You know it makes sense.
