Can someone who likes music seriously not have heard Wake Up by Arcade Fire?
the only good bits are the "i guess we'll just have to adjust" line and the Wham! coda
the worst song on the album; its a bit lazy for relying on that main hook so much
they had to like it.
I guess even if you don't know the band, you must have heard it. Yes?
only listen to commercial radio?
I guess they wouldn't play it?
I've spent the last 3 fucking hours doing a CD for someone and i am struggling with the final song. They said they don't know Arcade Fire so I want to add it, but its such a waste if they know it.
liking music has nothing to do with what you've heard, only how you hear it
I think I may have worded my question incorrectly.
I just thought Arcade Fire were at a level, like say Coldplay, where most people who take any interest in music would have come across them.
but i don't know about the UK...
and i know your guys have big radiostations that still place some sorts of Indierock.
so i'm officially hijacking it.
Can someone who likes music seriously not have heard Wake Up by RATM?
What with those BBC1 trailers a while back. Your average Westlife/James Blunt fan is unlikely to know what they do. They probably think they're another dull indie band, a bit like the Stereophonics.
