Pixies- Where is my mind, in fight club
the best right?
It's like The Doors or sommat
its perfect for that film and the time it comes in. i like the song a lot as well
Wasn't that on the 'Kids' (Larry Clark film) soundtrack? Not seen the movie, but unless 'The Leanover' has been featured on any films recently, that wins.
it's actually pretty good, though the controversy it caused scared miramax off doing moe of that sort of film so possibly it was bad for indie films.
with the use of Explosions in the Sky on Friday Night Lights - especially as you kind of expect it to be crappy rap and Nu-Metal cos it's an american football movie. - Good film too.East Hastings on 28 days later as well.
you are corrct mr. fucktherave.
Also, perhaps Starálfur in The Life Aquatic. That was pretty sweet.
i also love the specials - message for ruudi (sp?) on a room for romeo brass, the adem song on dead man's shoes and the gravenhurst song on this is england
shane meadows is v good for soundtracks
better than that is the Nico song in Royal Tennenbaums when the sister steps off the bus.
at the end of Lost in Translation
Needle in the Hay by Elliot Smith in The Royal Tenenbaums works brilliantly too in the context of the scene
I really like that usage of Just Like Honey, similarly in that film Death in Vegas' track Girls.
Another usage I like is the use of The Killing Moon at the beginning of Donnie Darko, even if it's not what the director wanted, it works so well.
every Martin Scorcese film?
