mark my words. mark them. go on.
Kanye's alright, but he's not big enough to headline Glastonbury. He was below Pink at the fucking V Festival last year. Seeing Eavis boast on local news about how he's booked *gasp* a black American headliner makes me wonder if this is some bizarre token gesture on his behalf.
get a better line up this year. Well as long as they have Radiohead and i get a ticket i will be happy.
and Kanye West is headlining any of the nights, it will be my second, and last Glastonbury of my life.
Because you don't like one act out of hundredds?
if one act could symbolise how shite Glasto has become it would be Kanye West.
i dont actually think he's that bad but it just aint Glasto
he is the coolest man alive.
If I want to bother this year. I think the whole experience is still worth it, even if the line up wasn't so great last year.
if it's kanye, glasto really can kiss it.
And there is always a "token" performer on the sunday night
a-track will be there. and he IS ace
it'll be Barrack Obama in da house.
Who goes to Glastonbury for the headliners? There's always about a million other people playing at the same time. Expand your tastes, and you will be catered for
would rather somebody else got it but i like his stuff and he is supposed to put on a good show!
I didn't see a single band on the Pyramid stage last time round, and had a great weekend.
Only band I was tempted to watch were the Pipettes, but I decided to go and get some food instead
he's already confirmed a certain amount of UK date somewhere around that time.
Either him or Bill Cosby.
now that would be funny, we could all mimic the cosby show dancing!!!
FTW! He can do that song with Blue.
would be amazing, but probably isn't respectable enough for Eavis and the people who attend his festival. Kanye will still be pretty great though.
on the main stage at Roskilde in 2006. I walked past and he was dancing really poorly to "Take On Me".
- I thoroughly enjoyed the performance.
All the locals seemed to have got dressed up in their Saturday best as well to witness this performance
bangs on about "headliners" when he's actually referring to someone playing near the top of pyramid or other stage. For what its worth (very very little) I reckon 2nd off top on the pyramid on sunday. yeah he played 4th at V, but they have about 5 times the budget of glasto.
I'm not reading another Glastonbury thread
I'm gonna buy my ticket, go, have a fucking amazing time, not give a shit who is playing, and then come back feeling great that everyone seems to think because the line up is occasionally iffy it's like V festival, because it made it a lot easier to get a ticket.
overhyped and booooooring pooey wannabe jay-z.
