Low - Drums and Guns
I've done two threads like this already of albums ignored in most Best of 2007 lists, so may as well do another.
No credit for this record either in most places. It's not quite Low's best (it feels a little too short for one thing), but they're probably the most consistent American band of recent years, and it's still bloody great.
The double whammy of Murderer and Violent Past to finish on is especially satisfying. And Hatchet is really short and sweet. And the haunting Breaker and Pretty People...*goes on and on*
