Didn't turn up. :-( Ill she says, we found out by a poster on the door.
to come to this, but decided against it at the last minute. No loss for me! Phew.
and we have to contact seetickets to get a refund and no mention of a reschedule.
But it's still pretty damn good.
She didn't turn up to Glastonbury. Bit annoyed, but no big deal - plenty of other stuff to see. Then she cancelled her Rough Trade instore the other day. Again, no big deal - just a free show at a record shop. Now she's cancelled this too
Hopefully she is well and everything, but there's a slight pattern emerging now
and it turns out she was doing a tour diary for NME.COM or some shit?
Now I have to go into town to Rock city and get the refund as they weren't giving refunds last night. Pretty rubbish that she didn't even say on her myspace that she was cancelling, as I looked to see about support yesterday.
I remember her once saying in an interview that she didn't like touring so I wonder if that was the reason.
bloody hope so
That was bloody annoying, both myself and my boyfriend had stayed around just for that gig, really bloody disappointing. Unless she was really, really ill - i.e. deathbed - then there's no excuse for cancelling! I've seen lots of bands who despite being pretty damn sick have still played! Gah. I also see she was well enough to that interview?!
*(I hope she actually isn't too ill though, I do rather like her..)
form on the first day of the uk tour, judging from this vid-post:
Speaking of making habits, she was booked to play the Rescue Rooms on a previous date and cancelled that too.
She must have pulled out fairly close to the time on this occasion, as DHP usually phone during office hours when they find out a gig has been postponed/nixed at one of their venues (or write if they know far enough in advance).
