one of the most beautiful pieces of film I've ever seen...
along with Joanna Newsom *listening to her right now*
just got back from Reykjavik too
some of the imagery and landscapes used in the film are just incredible
Ive been a few times and loved it
you should go go go
the film or my comment?
in the film. Someone I met from there at the weekend was dissapointed that SR were using the countryside to sell more records
but its really it beautiful, and an important part of Iceland. I do agree that the documentary does over do it at times. The 'new' release was promoted as new material but it isnt, and may be seen as a cash in. But I dont doubt Sigur Ros will come back with a great new album. This is a strange period in Sigur Ros's career because its the first time they really have revealed alot about the band, which may be a slight contrdiction going on earlier interviews (which used to be quite rare. But I do still love them they have 4 great albums. But hearing them on the latest BBC drama or event gets tiresome
as the culture show special about them the other week.
i'm looking forward to seeing the film, looks really good.
was such a dork, she knew nothing about them..
they were embarrassed for her as she trawled out all the worst sigur ros interview cliches
