I'd say that by '75 they'd lost what they had but I love those first 3 albums.
I thought it was just me. Secret Treaties is my favourite.
you are exactly right. the first three are supergood. after that it was a steady decline.
There's two of us. One more and we could form a support group.

some of the blastitude writers like em too...joe harrington being one
like most 70s hard rock bands, the horrendous later, popular work put me off.
opening your debut album with a song from the point of view of the Hell's Angels that 'policed' the Stones Altamont concert called "Transmaniacon MC" pretty much means i'm guaranteed to love you, and i really fucking do.
PLUS: you can't go wrong with umlauts.
of Cities on Flame With Rock and Roll on the 1975 live set On Your Feet or on Your Knees. its sweet.
'On Your Feet Or On Your Knees' on here.

Do you guys know the Stalk Forrest Group material from 1970 which they recorded for Elektra and was never released till a few years back? It's wonderful.
out on rhino? i heard it wasnt so hot so i steared clear of it. maybe i'll chase it down.
It's very different in style to BOC but it's definitely worth trying on for size. As for why it was never released I can only guess that Elektra thought the psychedelic ship had sailed.
