This fucking ruled.
It really did! Highlight for me = Never Going Nowhere.
I think they're playing southampton soon, and I think I'll go.
Did they play much old stuff? I only really know the first 2 albums?
My Highlight = TIGER LILY.
Solomon Bites the Worm
so yeah, you'll have a blast, but you really should purchase Science & Nature because it's BRILLIANT.
I might go and see them again next month in Brighton, they never disappoint.
I can't be arsed to get any more of their stuff. I like my opinion and memory of them just the way it is
its my 11th favourite album of all time.
Except for Autophilia, that sucks. But the rest of it's great.
authophilia is a great song
that was another highlight
I will always remember seeing the 'tones back in 2000 and Mark gesturing for me to come park that chassis next to his *swoon*.
back in the day
Sat was singing the really deep "babadabababababababa YEAH!" in Autophilia.
Oh My God I loved it.
The Basement Song
Slack Jaw (<3)
(I might as well have posted the whole album)
Besides, it was released back in 2000, it IS their old stuff.
Emily's Pine was.
I have never been as happy/excited as saturday night.
with The Bluetones though was it? You were excited because you met Mr Starshaped weren't you?
indeed. Hunk and a half.
Luxembourg is my favourite.
first time I've seen them properly. I was thrilled with Marblehead Johnson.
with the magnificent dancing.
I realised afterwards that I HAD seen Marblehead live before. I have a set list from a gig years ago and it was plainly there for all to see. Don't know how I could forget.
NA, NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA
NA NA NA NA
to end! Pump up the Jams!
I want to go.
thanks to this post, I no longer have Wet Wet Wet in my head
I'll actually turn up this time. If we get there early we can hang out with the 'tones!
that a lot of people still care about them this much.
So much better than the vast majority of bands they were pigeonholed with. I think it's brilliant that they're still going, in spite of not commanding the crowd sizes they used to... and also the fact that they're so cool about that. Although they still do get a decent turnout.
