woo! price is a bit steep though.
band from the late 70's in a kind of garage/MC5/Stooges vein.
They're being supported by Thee Vicars as well - their first London gig I think. Could be amazingly good or amazingly bad judging from their myspace.
£15 seems about right. I doubt their pensions are up to much.
...and are great. About 15 years old and full of ridiculous, fun energy.
I think the third gig they booked was this one. I have no idea how they did it.

all the gigs i go to seem to get cancelled. i'm quite pissed off now.
I just got a call about this.
Been looking forward to it for ages as well.
who actually turned up at the Underworld then?
I spoke to a French guy from the support band who had driven over from Paris. He was a bit pissed off. Two blokes had driven down from Edinbourgh. I imagine they were even more pissed off.
the promoter is down about a grand because of this.
A lot of pissed off people all round.
... none more so than the drummer, who quit due to this event, apparently: http://radio-birdman.com/news.html
I was just looking at that before I saw your link.
