who went saturday? how was it? i couldn't make it:(
It really was!
it was great. shame 3hos were on so late though as it had cleared out somewhat, and i was knackered. they were still fantastic though
and it was good.
What was the last song that Lords played? Did they say it a ZZ Top song?
Silent Front were excellent - not my sort of thing normally, but I really enjoyed them on Saturday.
originally by ZZ Top
That 'Rocked Balls', to quote a mate of mine's pet phrase.
Really really good. I went home with a big smile on my face. Plus the silver rocket cd is great.
Charlotte field and Lords were my favs of the day.
3hos, joeyfat and cove (aside from the first track) were my highlights
Rugby over Rock?
What's the world coming to?
I did enjoy shouting:
"FINE YOUNG FILLY"
at the guys in togas though!
for crazy times
It was great.
I didn't get round to seeing Underground Railroad.
I was annoyed to have missed most of Silent Front, who I thought were on top form.
I still don't really get why everyone goes on about Meet Me in St. Louis. They don't seem that great.
Charlottefield and Joeyfat and Lords really put in tremendous sets.
3hos... Well as ever they just seemed a bit disappointing live, but that was the best I've seen them. Have they ever played She Was a Capitalist live? Best track on the album by far but I've never seen them do it.
even though, to echo the comments of someone above, they're not really my sort of thing.
Joeyfat are my sort of thing, of course, and were great. They appeared to be playing lots of new stuff, though - anyone know if a new record is imminent (unlabel.net says it is, but it's been saying that for at least a year...)
it bloody well better be, eh?
I think we're track 6.
the CD wasn't available on Saturday?
Would've picked up a copy if I'd known!
It's just that if you bought it you only got the CDs and the box. The cardboard holders for the CD and the booklet are to follow.
You're on there twice thanks to NosferatuD2 and SRS. Good work...
I'll be picking up the rest of the stuff on Friday.
I'm not a massive fan of purely acoustic stuff, but you have some great songs
I can't wait to get the track listing and find out who some of the bands are!
I recognised more tracks than I thought I would, but some of the songs have stopped me in my tracks...... and I have no idea who they're by!
I can't remember the rest but I'm pretty sure there's a 3hos track as number 2 on the first CD.
Oh well, too late.
For the CDs, the gigs and everything. Really, it's all just too good!
