I even have the cd single somewhere
Red slip cover.
No, really...you did, you used to jump around the room when it came on the Evening Session and everything!
I still do jump around the room to it!
I miss China Drum
Can't say the same about the 2 other links...
Blissfully flying over my head
So, SO much. I played it to myself last weekend, in actual fact. Good times.
born to quit is an amazing album. 28 minutes of pop perfection!
That's China Drum, Geneva AND Superstar... are you sure you're not me from the 90s?
How about Scare? Whipping Boy? The Afghan Whigs? Imperial Teen?
never was a fan of Scare, The Afghan Whigs or Imperial Teen !
I've just recommended it to Colonol_K. You're missing out with Scarce (not scare as I orginally typo'd) and The Afghan Whigs; Scarce's 'Deadsexy' and The Whigs's 'Gentlemen' are also incredible albums!
'16 candles down the drain' was better!
I remember knowing this was gash even at 15!
that tune was the Clueless ost !!
...and seeing some of those haircuts in that video has suddenly made me feel dead old :(
As if reaching the latter half of my 20s last week wasn't bad enough :|
Somebody find some more bands that I remember from the nineties.
...featuring other mid 90s gems from Wildhearts, Almighty et al if I remember rightly.
Good God :|
I was in a friend's car the other week and he put that album on. I'd pretty much forgotten that they existed.
I think I preferred the first album though.
Headswim were one of the first bands i listened to based on a kerrang reccomendation. Also one of the last. I'm a quick learner.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RIlRhXXQjg from the first album i saved my pocket money for. I bought the cassette.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aReEwt_Z0kU and the first 7" single.
I almost wrote 'i miss the 90s', but i really don't.
and Lush was a GREAT band !
