Me. I'm not that interested either. Am I alone?
but it's decided to only download 15mb and won't let me get the rest. I think it's karma because I paid shite all for it.
but listening to it on xfm.
yet i kind of feel obliged to get it soon...
I suddenly feel less alone in this world.
but i've asked my girlfriend to download it so i'm hoping it will be waiting for me when i get home
for over a year.
well it will be herr fault if we don't get to southampton until late then :)
i'm at work, and my internet was broken when i left the house this morning
but it's only 160kbps, so frankly what's the point of listening to it? GUFFAW
I'm intrigued by it, so I shall download it for nowt and have a listen. I don't hold out much hope. I'm not *quite* as excited as everyone else, I don't think...
I'll wait for it to turn up on Rapidshare or something
I haven't heard ANY Radiohead album. Check me out
i don't know what that says, but i'm pretty sure it means that you don't like them, more than them being over rated
i have a habit of missreading things.
What makes me laugh / makes me angry, is that many fans will buy at least the boxset AND the average version of the album ( = 60 £ ) when then could have spent the money for smaller bands, more worthy of their attention and their money...
'smaller' bands are always rubbish.
Even Radiohead were probably rubbish when they were small, if Pablo Honey's anything to go by.
but i'll have a listen later. Peer pressure or something.
I do believe anyone who has paid more than about £3 for 160kbps mp3s has been ripped off. They should have said what the bitrate was in advance.
I'm interested though.
I don't own any Radiohead albums, although I usually enjoy their singles.
I can probably trace it to my dad trying to get me to listen to Kid A. Not going to happen.
shall check my inbox when i get back and download it then.
Listening to The National's new one at the mo. Lovely stuff.
Although my issue with them is more to do with finding them incredibly irritating as a concept, than because I think they are 'bad'.
The things Thom Yorke says make my toes curl. Like a 40 year old who thinks and talks like a first year student.
like is "coeur de cible"...
im not that excited. i may listen to it in time, i may not, who can tell? Well, me, obviously. Do i know now? No, i do not.
I do keep, in my head, singing "no surprises" though. Not sure what that signifies.
As i'm at work.
but haven't. I'm not beating myself up over it though.
I thought you would be to be honest
I can't be bothered. :(
And all this carping about Radiohead will only drive me further towards disinterest.
Nice idea though.
but ill give it a whirl in a bit just because i have nothing else to do
I like some Radiohead stuff but they don't particularly move me.
well, i heard a few tracks on Xfm. They were... okay. Fairly uninspiring stuff.
I still think they're a great band but I lost interest around Amnesiac and thought HTTT was a bit unexciting.
I would be curious to hear it but I think I can wait. Also I don't have access to a computer which I can use for downloading so it is a bit irrelevant anyway.
and i downloaded it anyway :'(
but now i'm home and with a copy ready to go.. i just can't be arsed. I think i'm suffering from Radiohead fatigue
i ever listen to are Pablo Honey and The Bends.
Don't get me wrong I appreciate what they are trying to do. I just like their early stuff a lot more than their old stuff, and therefore cannot be bothered to indulge in something that will invariably disappoint me since I've not listened to kid A not Hail to the Thief.
So no, Panda_bear you're not alone. xxx
and i probably won't for quite some time. radiohead were the first band that i loved, and i still like them - i just can't be arsed. possibly because 'hail to the thief' was so bloody awful.
don't give a shit.
I'm a bit behind.. How does the payment thing work? Do you really just pay how much you want for it?
but it doesn't come guilt-free if you pay nothing, unfortunately :(
Like can I just go into HMV or wherever and say, I'll pay a couple of pounds for this, thanks.
i havent heard the previous one yet either. i'm not that bothered about them, and i'm even more determined not to now there's some stupid sales gimmick and a load of hype.
