HEy!ITs radioheadweek! Well this is the only good thing about being as old as Jesus- the fact that as well as seeing MBV in 1992 I also, by default saw Radiohead FOUR times, once in Dudley (dont ask) once in Bath (average audience 12) and twice supporting, erm Kingmaker and the Frank and Walters. at each gig they gave out loads of round yellow stickers with an 'r' on and I stuck them all to my college folder and my guitar. Looking back, apart from Creep, You and Ripcord, most of their songs didn't exite me but i loved their intensity compared to the baggy jumper smugness of my 'mate's bands' like Cud etc. By the time I saw them at Glastonbury in 1997 I felt like a proud dad at the back of an assembly hall.
I also own the Drill EP on vinyl.
