sounds like any song from their last album remixed by eiffel 65.
What does that sound like, then?
that's really bad. I thought the recorded version could only be better than how it sounded on the Conan O'Brian show but I was wrong.
Yes, very funny. I very much doubt Bloc Party would write a song that sounds like a German trance cover of an 80s pop hit.
And I double doubt they would write a song using the Linkin Park chord sequence.
your ability to be wilfully vague is proportionate to how indie you are.
considering he's the singer of the band
and I quite liked A Weekend in the City.
Have you heard 'Another Weekend in the City' - I think it's just B-sides etc but there is a song called 'We Were Lovers' which on first hearing is several times better than da-ba-dee da-ba-dar.
when Bloc Party were some cop.
bloc party are now officially shite.
the funny thing is they actually belive they are producing this mind bending, very important music and that others arent trying hard enough.
They havnt released anything decent from Two More Years onwards (two more years and its dad-singalong-at-the-football-ground chant URGH)
they really should knock this post punk post-post-Gang of Four drivel on the head and get back to their post punk pre-post-Gang of Four drivel. It was far more interesting, and had miles more energy.
Stop trying hard.
Isn't that just Gang Of Four?
Maybe Old Trafford...
especially the Eiffel 65 one, I genuinely didn't expect it to ACTUALLY sound like that. Terrifying. It's an OK song, but the formula is wearing extremely thin now.
they didnt put little thoughts on the debut.
I'm still awaiting acknowledgement for my comment on their use of the Official Linkin Park Chord Sequence TM.
in the end it doesn't even matter?
gash is gash
in the world care about stuff like that, and 8 of them own Yngwie Malmsteen albums.
You don't have to know anything about music to be able to spot the most overused chord sequence in history.
And I'd have thought the ignorance=cool thing was above you.
they sound like horrible drum and bass infused rock, like apollo 440 or some shite like that
With the most piss-poor faux-important lyrics too
is that remixy sounding thing the actual single?
Poor show if so
from Silent Alarm. This year's album was just...poor.
