'Up With People' from Happy New Year must up there. damn it's good.
that Sheets Of Easter covers tape club thing some label in the US are doing?
tell me more
they're releasing a series of tapes containing just covers of Sheets Of Easter. it's possibly the best or stupidest idea ever. i can't decide.
pretty cool. Seeing them play it live was a great experience.
or $50 tea. Actually I haven't got a clue. Up With People reminds me of XTRMNTR by Primal Scream. Most of their songs are pretty amazing though aren't they?
i emailed their booking agent about putting them on sometime before or after ATP and he said they're only in the country for ATP and not doing anything else. BOOOOOOO.
they must at least do one london show!
nothing at all.
although, also quite strangely, they're flying to europe to play three irish shows this month and nothing else as well..
They didn't play any other UK shows when they did ATP last year either.
that riff and the intro 'yeeeahhh' still sends shivers down my sprout
having actual tracks to check out has alerted me to what ive been missing out on
Lavender, by some way.
Every Day Is A Child With Teeth
easily one of my favourite songs EVER.
Other notable mentions are: No Label (drugs in the woods), Changes In The City (keeping the end of album jam alive!) and Up With People (there's a brilliant youtube video of that somewhere...)
That Sheets of Easter covers club is almost unbelievable, but has caught my interest (I love the original, remarkably easy to drift into a trance listening to that)
uh, liking music? And liking to talk about music?
