As there was a small discussion about Coldplay on these boards last week and I saw the album when flicking through the iPod. I much prefer it to AROBTTH - which I like as well.
probably the best L-Co album (although i'm starting to be of the opinion that I'm Your Man is his best lyrically)
it depends on your attitude to reaaally cheesy 80s pop production and backing soul singers. Personally, i find a bit of corny 80s pop to be quite pleasureable, but i could see how some people might not be able to look past it. It's certainly a shock to the old school Cohenian (like me)

'Garbageheads On Endless Stun' album, becuase Monumental Freaks came on my iPod at random and I'd forgotten how much I like ERP, so I listened to the whole album. And it's still ace. I'd recommend it to people who like Sparkelhorse and stuff like that
They have put their first ever single on their website to download for free to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Loads of other ace stuff on there too.
I'm really hungover and the only thing I can hack at work at the moment is stuff that's REALLY slow.
