Despite the majority of a people leaving after Charlottefield.
= pretty good, not lifechanging or as eclectic as they were on myspace
down i go=best band in the world. LOVE them so so much
charlottefield=pretty disappointing. one or two good tunes, and, yes, great drumming
manatees=a litttttle bit dull, and some bad drumming, but pretty great generally
GET OUTTA MY YARD, YOU.
he was dropping beats like no one's business
solid for the rest tho
Zettasaur - interesting what they are trying to do, but still a bit rough around the edges
Down I Go - highlight of the evening, and a massive improvement on when they played RoTa in February (and they were pretty good even then)
Charlottefield - they seemed to play a lot of new stuff, and not that many off their excellent 'How Long Are You Staying' debut, and as a result it left me a bit dissatified
Manatees - great and intense as always, but the set was too short, the crowd too thin and unfortunately no multi-drummer finale either
I was expecting some big finale but they just seem to, well just stop.
Did they run out of time or something?
You people, you make Michael sad.
should have told Zettasaur to get on stage on time - they seemed very reluctant to start because the venue was still a bit empty
zettasaur - better than i thought they'd be, can't really remember them
down i go - see my profile and take a guess what i thought. i want to be their friends pls
charlottefield - i was so into them a few years ago, now tho obv they are still great, im not feelin it.
manatees - boring, think there are bands like them that do what they do a lot better. the drummer was rly rly awful.
that was pretty negative
i didn't dislike anything as much as what i've written above suggests
