Pah, prepared myself fully to get tickets for the Cecil Sharp House gig and it sold out in seconds...What a bitch.
this is the first I've even heard of this. Bollocks.
well you had more chance of getting shit out of a rocking horse than bagging a ticket by the looks of things.
I must adopt that phrase - coool....
I would've totally gone to this
I got onto the Seeticket ordering page for this, typed in all my details and when I clicked 'confirm' I was cheerfully told that it had sold out.... arse.
Sold out in 3 minutes apparently... drat!
- where did you find out about it?
I don't exacly have my head in the music press constantly but I'm pretty sure I'm signed up to their newsletters and stuff. And I'm itching to see them.
on their website www.sigur-ros.co.uk
I checked the gig listings about a week ago but I don't look at their site every day.
That'll teach me for being crap.
I saved up specially and everything. Hope it's shit
[it wont be]
i heard nothing about this
...when Kaisers et al were. I heard about them playing via 6Music. It's been on the BBC Electric Proms website for yonks.
DiS just neglected to mention our Icelandic friends in their news item on said series of gigs.
i could of got tickets for this
i was thinking of the Bush Hall date the next day, which for some reason, seetickets labels as "sigur Ros"
on their myspace. haven't bothered checking it out yet.
could just show up in the evening and go if that was what you decided you wanted to do that evening....i don't mean touts...i mean like going to the cinema...a few hours before the gig you could round up a couple of friends and go on down....i don't like things selling out especially not in 3 minutes....rubbish
The documentary is showing at the BFI Southbank on 5 November and Sigur Ros will be playing a short acoustic set. Tickets £14.75. Booking opens 11 Oct.

It also looks like they are on open sale via the website.
