i can only find one date tho :(
or seeing them since Songs...
the singles just sounded so crap and methinks when Nick left the magic was lost.
shame cos they were one of the best live bands EVA before then and i loved em long time.
i have listened to the albums, but not bought them. i am naughty, but to be fair they didnt deserve to be paid for.
New one is very good. It's just a lot shorter and more streamlined than usual.
Saw them at this 'festival' in Leeds this year. It rained and you could hardly hear them. Everyone was just thinking: 'Play no-one knows, then get the White Stripes on.'
live with the old line up, its chopped and changed and nick isnt there anymore so its lost it a bit live.
For pretty much every touring cycle since they started.
didnt change dramatically untill lullabies. before that they only changed the drummer
r = josh nick mark and drummers
sftd = josh nick mark and dave grohl
ltp = josh mark joey + others
"the new one" = josh joey and others
was on the first one two? im pretty sure he was
not two hehe i only thionk this as he definatly played with them when i saw them tour the first album
on their last tour. The gig at Kokos blew me away. I even bought the DVD ('Over The Trees And Through The Woods') and it's fantastic.
Josh Homme and Trent Reznor= my ideal gay threesome.
One good thing about T' Trills
you'd get so hurt
blates josh has a really, really big cock
When googling for a picture, i found
but to ease your stomach
too busy wanking.
I will actually walk to Nottingham if it comes to that.
Sucks to all you naysayers, new album is solid stripped down rock GOLD.
(though old stuff was better)
Anyways, they always play a good greatest hits set.....
this is why they were bad live? Wuh? Hardly their fault.
I have faith they'll come full circle and do something as amazing as the first three albums, but either way, they are still always worth catching live and there's 4/5 great songs on each of both the last two albums. Don't think they'll ever hit their live peak again (circa 2002 with Nick and Lanegan when you weren't sure if someone was gonna jump off stage and kick your face in) but still...
between 1999 and 2002 . always amazing :)
i actually dreamt last night that QOTSA announced a tour, and 65dos were the support, but i had no idea they actually were about to announce one!
I think it sounds dreadful, then I realise after a few plays that it's ace. Latest one was no exception.
i havent seen them since 2003, or given the last 2 albums much of a listen
