What's the best way of getting there from London?
or paths that run at the side of the road.
Get a train to Norbiton.
If you are coming from London direction when you get off the train, make sure you cross to the other side of the station under the underpass. Then turn right out of the station, walk to the first crossroads, turn right, keep walking, over the bridge. Keep going and its basically opposite the end of that road. About a 10 minute walk.
do not attempt to drink any of the "beer" on draught there. I went there the other day and it was ludicrously watery and disgusting..
London Transport zones 1-6 == London. It's only in Zone 4 or something.
Just take the overground from Waterloo and get off at the right station. About 5-10 min walk.
from Kingston station you can get, I forget the number though but it's only about a 15 min walk.
Crumbs, last time I was there was to see 'A' - in 2001. How time flies. As does my music taste.
take the 131 bus. this might be the only bus that goes up the cambridge road (where the Peel is). Or get off at norbiton station as mentioned earlier. the 131 runs between kingston and wimbledon if that's any help.
Lived there for 3 years and still can't spell it.
the Peel is the titty bar
