The only iggy album that seems to get mentioned on here is Raw power, but The idiot's actually brilliant.
you're talking about when he was with The Stooges or not. 'Raw Power' was Iggy and The Stooges, 'The Idiot' was him solo. Yes, YEAH.
In conclusion: 'Fun House'.
even then i only see raw power mentioned.
In conclusion: China girls
Dong dong dong dong dong dong dong dong dong dong
with my china girl
Relationship of command FTW ;)
I like it, but I don't think it is that great. You should seek out 'Kill City' which is his best post-Stooges album by far. Mainly because most of those songs would've made up the 4th Stooges record and it has James Williamson on guitar.
Best albums featuring Iggy in order?
Lust For Life
I think its brilliant but dont know how it compares to his other solo stuff, as ive only got raw power and the stooges, along with the idiot.
On that note, i really need to get some bowie stuff. My friend's been telling me to listen to him for ages but ive never got round to it. I'll nick hunky dory off my dad, but any more than that is a different thread for a different time. Its amazing how much bowie pops up in stuff i like but ive never actually listened to him
that Party is his best album.
Sometimes I don't understand her.
it is fantastic, as is "Lust for Life" (though it has suffered from a bit of overexposure in films and ads).I absolutely love "New Values" too, it's sort of like middle of the road soul or something, but of course with it being Iggy, it ends up a bit twisted and dark.
