Although, 'Wasted Youth' and 'Everything Louder than Everything Else' are my faves.
but is it 2 out of 3 ain't bad or paradise by the dashboard light by any chance?
and Jim Steinman.(his co-writer)He was also my first gig - I think.
I'm jealous. Meat Loaf is brilliant. What was he like live? Was it epic?
that's all I remember. Haha. My Dad has seen him about 8 or 9 times, maybe more and My Mum has seen him 4. I think they are going to see him again on this next tour in November.
I think I've left it too late...it's like the Iron Maiden incident all over again. :(
Owns every damn thing he's done, picture disks all formats, vinyl etc and seen him few times also. He even buys anything Jim Steinmans done produced, total obsessive, god bless
He was slightly hurt when he went into this vinyl record store and overheard guy say to another 'It's that guy who always comes in and asks for Meatloaf'
Objects in the rear view mirror and Dead Ringer for love and somje one on new album called 'I'm still Alive' or something are pretty good
One of my friend's has it and said it was a bit disappointing, and he's a big Meat Loaf fan!
Some tracks are have a NU Metal sound(land of the pigs) but most of his tracks have been around in some form for ages, sounds same old
for some gay reason.
I think they left before the end. Apparently the stage show was a spectacle, with motorbikes and what have you, but the short haired, old, overweight Meatloaf can't pull it off any more.
was produced by Todd Rundgren.
He's the man.
Oh yeah I meant writtem, what I meant is I had the ludicrous situation where ol poppa bought Sisters of Mercy cos was proced by Jim Steinman
in my collection of songs that make my skin crawl, and make me want to throttle the cunt who put it on.
