what the hell's the point?
never gone near it.
i'm surprised john hasn't cottoned onto this for brainlove artists :D
I can't look in work
100,000 radiohead songs. the next band down are queen with about 600. so he's basically got radiohead songs on repeat all day every day to get them higher in the lastfm charts.
hint hint ;-)
for being high in the last.fm charts?
if anyone wants to leave their computer on all day whilst they're in work with 'the independent scrutineer' on repeat I'm not going to stop them.
anyone who gets more than 500 PWL plays in a week will receive a badge. that's a promise.
you're on :D
and if they see someone high up they havent heard of they might investigate?
send your CV to John Brainlove, Brainlove Towers, London, BL1 0VE
i hear they pay in merkins.
Last.FM records songs that are over 30 seconds long. You could have a 31 second .mp3 of blank sound and tag it "Radiohead - Creep", and put it on repeat. You could have 300,000+ plays per week doing that.
Why would you want to do that?
Absolutely no idea - unless people get warm fuzzy feelings if they think they're the bands biggest fan, but playing 31 second snippets 24/7.
I believe that the neighbours are worked on the position the artist is on your chart, and so it is irrelevant if you have 3000 Radiohead plays or 3,000,000, if it sits at number one then that is all that matters when neighbours are worked out*
* may not be 100% correct, I'm going off a fuzzy recollection here.
