Any good or rubbish?
But I only really know Floodland.
I'd tone her enthusiasm down a notch, but yeah, they were well good. Sorta make Cure records seem sunny by comparison.
*anything post Primary, that is.
are both amazing albums !
In that case i will check "First Last & Always"
the Sisters aren't for everyone...
I remember dancing in their songs in german clubs more than a decade ago... ( I should say nearly 2 decades ago... )
The Sisters are a bit hit and miss. But when they hit, they are very good indeed.
Hey now now!
First & Last & Always and Floodland are amazing
as are their many many earlier singles and EPs.
There are two WEA compilaitons
Some Girls Wander By Mistake
A Slight Case Of Over-Bombing
One of them is all the early stuff.
The ultimate goth band. Tries to bethe biggest band in the world, recorded with Jim Steinman, nearly did it too. Well, seemed so at the time.
Andrew Eldritch was the last great mysterious and clever and arch and funny frontman.
Cept mebbe Frank Black.
Oh, and Michael Stipe pre Automoatic
Download Temple Of Love, This Corrosion, First & Last & Always and Alice. Nice spread of places to start.

SISTERS OF MERCY,
I'M AFRAID WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO GO OVER IT AGAIN.
If only for the bassline on 'Kiss The Carpet'. Craig Adams was a great bassist. (I saw The Smiths support Sisters Of Mercy in Brixton once).
