fucking amazing last night. although i am of the opinion now more thn ever that touts are the scum of the fucking earth. absolute cunts. 35 quid for ONE ticket. still some nice lady let me have one for face value. i'm so glad i got in, it was well worth the trip down. they didn't play a bad song in their set, nice mixture of songs from horse of the dog and royal society and the new stuff sounded ace too.

What was
the crowd like last night?
Thought Scala might have been a bit of an optimistic venue for them to fill, gutted I couldnt get along to it though

It was the best set
i've ever seen them play, if not the best show. They whacked in a fair number of old b-sides from the Horse of the Dog era singles.
It was sold out as far as i could tell.
They were
fucking superb and the crowd went apeshit from start to finish. Felt like everyone in the place (especially the band) were making up for lost time.
Really heavy set and the new stuff came across brilliant, even the shitty scala sonics didnt matter when they started blasting away
