the lemonheads - outdoor type = billy bragg - waiting for the great leap forwards
Green Day - Warning/The Kinks - Picture Book
Power Rangers theme tune
The Stranglers - All Day And All Night = The Kinks - Hello, I Love You
The Kinks - All Day And All Of The NIght
& The Doors - Hello, I Love You?
damn right too!
What a massive, massive error.
And the fact you mixed The Stranglers up with The Doors is shameful.
The Pixies - Where Is My Mind?
The Strokes - Is This It?
Interpol - Rest My Chemistry
I love all 3!
because they're all (sort of) the same tempo?
The beginning of Hole In The Earth by Deftones and the beginning of 100% by Sonic Youth. Identical. For about 2 seconds.
For me it's the "lead" guitar lines that are similar, rather than the songs as a whole.
OK, maybe I took it a little too far but surely you can hear the similarity - come on, admit it. Don't be obtuse.
no, I can't, apart from a vaguely similar tempo, hence the post! I'm not trying to be arsey, I just can't hear it.
Of course, I can't fault you on this.
Also: Dead Leaves... by the White Stripes, and about a million of their other songs.
There's No Home For You Here.
For me, these are basically the same song but with different lyrics.
Also... is it The Air Beneath My Fingers or something?
All of them are really good songs, but its practically an identical chord shape.
cornershop - brimful of asha = the view - same jeans
on the bbc, the acoustic one that goes " questions, i got some questions i need to know" ( for a start that's wrong, it's answers you need you tit)
anyway that one
and Aneka - Japanese boy
also the end of wake up by arcade fire and you can't hurry love by phil collins (according to the nme)- yeah Phil collins, not Diana ross.
Stars in their eyes - Just Jack
Because we want to - Billie Piper
Similar Bass lines:
That track off new cribs album
I wanna be adored - stone roses
similar chord progressions:
Oasis - wonderwall
Travis - writing to reach you
green day - boulevard of broken dreams
many more can't think of any at moment
There's a lyric in Writing to Reach You that goes "And what's a Wonderwall anyway?" so I think Fran Healy knew that they sounded alike when he wrote it... interesting.
pixies- the brick is red
