I watched them at Glasto, thinking, "if I go really far forward really early, I'll be here for Kasabian." But my stomach shrunk to the size of a golfball and I nearly died before they came on, so that was pretty futile.
I think the only good thing about them was the fact Kele was very nice onstage. I knew before I watched them that they'd have a job recreating their big sound they have on record, and I was right. The guitars are muted, and not very loud, and that backing vocalist man must mime or something, cos I never heard his voice.
They were worse than the Magic Numbers, and that's saying something.
Something also not very nice: the way the crowd all sang 'fire' during Positive Tension. Its got TWO syllables.
