and White Rabbits were really bad so I left.
How do I get more?!
also I had to get back to cardiff.
sorry to everyone I didn't say bye to.
more or less the same set as their Saturday performance at Glastonbury, but last night it seemed that most of the people who were there had no interest in the band at all, and as a result the whole evening felt a bit flat and soulless, unlike Glasto. Is White Heat always like that?
most people go there for the clubnight, not the bands.
I saw them at Glastonbury on Thursday night and they were great just don't want to waste money incase it's a different band.
on Monday night supporting Deerhoof with Kit and got a good reception from the crowd
their album from 2005. They have also an EP released this year.
The album/EP might as well be from different bands. The album had a bit of excitement to it, whereas the EP could just be any old EP from any old band. It wasn't very exciting.
I was going to see them at the weekend at a free festival, but they've pulled out, oh well!
Where can I buy that?
Whaddya reckon? I thought Meh.
at dublin castle a while back too,(was it with iliketrains?) i'm not sure if i'm getting them confused with another similarly-named band..
i thought they wouldn't be my cup of tea when they came on, but they rocked!
they rocked the place
I saw them on Saturday at Glastonbury, but not the Thursday DiS meat (I was requested to go collect some friends and lug their stuff back to the tent)
its like !!!'s rhythm section with awesome elctronics on top soo cool
but that would've involved not going home.
Its weird to see a band influenced by 1-speed bike and fly pan am down as playing white heat though.
Much less improvised than I'd been led to expect though.
Did anyone stay for Drop The Lime? He was incredible, so so so good. That whole grimey heavy weight base glitch scene in NY is incredible.
really fucking great
