do make say think
you don't think you'd be sick off 'Ys' after hearing it for the tenth time in a 24 hour period.
I think having an extensive catalogue is a factor in this.
I wasn't even thinking about her first album then - I really could just listen to Ys all day. I only got it fairly recently though.
I've just realised I should add Sonic Youth to that list. I've probably got enough of their stuff to only listen to any song twice in 24 hours.
Belle & Sebastian
The Radio Dept
Possibly Springsteen, though as much as I love him I'm not sure I'd make it through the whole day.
I have a low attention span
listened to him all day on a rainy hungover sunday recently. that really spaced me out.
Belle & Sebastian
And dare I say it..Ryan Adams. Although only Heartbreaker and Gold and maybe a Whiskeytown album.
to that of...something with a low attention span. So nothing, really.
But if I had to, it's clearly the 'wamba.
ive found i can listen to sonic youth all day.
im not sure what else, hmmm.
also: Xiu Xiu.
The Divine Comedy
Ben Folds /(Five)
Seriously, hypothetic questions like this suck.
But yea, I could listen to Anal Cunt for a year.
heaven forfend anyone post a hyptothetical question on a messageboard.
or ask one in real life. in fact everything should be entirely routed in reality. useful is beautiful.
why waste time listening to music at all when we could be doing filing?
listening to the black heart procession last night, highly enjoyable
they're my fave.
But it would probably take all day to listen to all Of David Bowie's album and they are diverse enough to keep me interested.
And XTC for the same reasons.
are literally the only band/artist I could listen to all day long without skipping at least one track - but even then "Espionage" and "Warning" do come mighty close.....
is REM. From the start of their back catalogue to the end. And then start all over again. Clearly my loo and meal times would be around the time of Around the Sun.
I think I'll do a bit of that.
all of whom i DO listen to literally all day
But then, when you start including live albums, they've got over 300 tracks so you'd never get bored!
Oh, and Span....just because!
belle and sebastian
is probably the only one. and even then i'd want to include all the side projects.
Belle & Sebastian
Not very much really though...
listening to nothing but Smog's "A River Ain't Too Much To Love" on repeat. You'd have to be in the right mood, though, for just one album.
I think I could listen to Liars on a Trench/Drowned/DND/"Liars" chronoLOLogical loop. But I'd probably end up feeling slightly psychotic by the end of the day.
Guided By Voices
Bright eyes (if i was in the mood for it)
Maybe joanna newsom
I think I listened to nothing but weezer's blue album a few days ago.
i have done this today, and it's going well so far.
i can listen to some songs literally all day, and regularly do listen to just Million Dead for a day.
The Velvet Underground. No one else, really. Familiarity breeds contempt for me, I've got a short attention span.
"all day" would take in about four songs.
I laugh at your short attention spans...
I listen to David Bowie albums for 4 years straight!
i can even go for days just listening to one album (see: blue album, ys, vespertine, etc etc etc)
trail of dead
in certain moods, arab strap, the twilight sad or jeff buckley. only in certain moods though.
the eighties matchbox b-line disaster
explosions in the sky
at the drive-in
my bloody valentine
the scene is now
