I was there on the saturday and i witnessed the redefining of the word epic, along the invention of a new word: 'epicest' (i.e. that was the epicest show i've ever seen). Muse put on a truly amazing show (at least from where i was standing - i'm sure that out of the pit and especially in the seats, it may have been not quite so awesome). The sound wasn't always spot-on but the band's energy combined with the amazing setlist and amazing light show made for a near-perfect event. They even played citizen erased - like OMGGGGGZZZZ!
The support was a bit of a mixed bag - Rodrigo y gabriela were really good and Rodrigo in particular, who's guitar playing is laughably good, was a joy to watch. Doity Pretty things were pretty lame, not helped by an amp not working for much of the time. The streets went down surprisingly well i thought, although Skinner overdid the Radio gaga thing a bit...
Well done Bellamy & Co.
