I sure as heck hope so cause I want it.
I own it.
"production" is what you'd expect - no frills yet immaculate. No overdubs. It's pretty much what you expect a Shellac record to sound like.
The artwork looks great (vinyl). The fruit surrounding Todd Trainer's greyhound is gloss while the rest of the image is matte. It's very nice.
Vinyl is nice and heavy.
You get a CDR of the album with the vinyl too, so you can put it on your iPod or play it on your CD system too if you want - nice touch!
It's the one Amazon.co.uk have...
That comes on the paper slip case that enclosed the proper gatefold sleeve.
Have a look at this to see the image on the artwork on the gatefold sleeve:
Not sure which you'd call the "cover"...?!
it was the one Touch and Go had but actually on their site it's now got that and the one I posted cycling over and over on the page.
If so I will be going to Sister Ray this evening.
That'll be a yes, then.
...from Norman Records online.
And if you buy the vinyl, they chuck the CD in for nowt anyway.
I love that. They did it with 10000 Hurts too.
...that me and my flatmate both went out and bought said vinyl within 10 minutes of each other without realising. Thus, due to aformentioned CD-inclusion, we now have 4 copies of Excellent Italian Greyhound.
Hands up who wants one?
Gonna order it on Amazon RIGHT NOW.
Went to Sister Ray but they had sold out. BAlllls.
Didn't you see my Shellac on Vinyl thread down there?
Sister Ray claim there's a distributor issue and it will be in next week. None in HMV or Virgin either.
http://www.normanrecords.co.uk have some though. They just dispatched mine.
got mine on monday from hmv on oxford street. it is indeed awesome! i just downloaded a peel session with 4 ace tracks; spoke, canada, crow and disgrace. yeah!
I have that though it also includes 'Killers' or something.
is on the Lounge Ax Defense disc. And is amazing, one of their best songs.

Strange it got attached to the Peel Session thing.
