I gave a look over the last 3 pages and didn't see a topic for it, oh well, link?
a really good album, definitely more structured than the Back Room, and this record will undoubtedly elevate them to stadium status.
May not be to everyone's tastes and all that, but fair play for at least showing a bit more ambition than the majority of the Class of 2005.
But then what do Q know? They gave Razorshite 5. I don't trust them.
put oasis/U2/coldplay on the cover of their magazine every 6 months. Therefore they are fucking stupid.
its a brilliant record. Its got Editors doing that disco avec screaming guitars thing but its even better then what they did before ("An End Has A Start" and "Bones" are unbelievably brilliant, and "Escape The Nest" is really good also)... and then they've got this "lets write epic songs" thing going on which is also going well.
And yes. Its a poor album title. But so was "the back room".
to be becoming a stadium status band by default, just because they're a reasonably successful guitar band on their second album. It's very lazy.
who actually likes their new song?
Please don't lynch me.
Though I loathed it at first. And there are far far better songs on the album.
that's a terrible album name.
Tautologies do not make album titles- that's directed at you Arctic Monkeys and Maroon 5....
You know where he's a rubbish superhero and there's a load of other rubbish superheros.
And then there's this guru who makes incredibly obvious and meaningless statements as though statements of great wisdom.
"An End has a Start" may well have been something he'd have said.
