'On Letting Go' has leaked. Just giving it a first listen now. Anyone else love this band as much as I do?
Didn't think anyone had heard of them on here.
The opening track on the new album is aural sex.
Amazing band - like an atmospheric, proggy Mansun...
is incredible, so beautiful. i'm not sure how it'll shape up vs juturna, since that album's got a whole lot connected to it, but its taken over my computer/cd player/mp3 player/etc. semi-constructive criticism, mandala and the title track are really something special
i love the guy's voice, really liked 'juturna'.
it makes me thing of words like 'fluent'. it sounds like water, or something.
High And Driving
Audience Of One
The Sound Of Animals Fighting
is pretty embarrassing, but slightly enjoyable in a really cheesy way. that said though, their new song is actually quite exciting, and shows massive progression. its even got a string quartet, which is apparently an emo-band-necessity nowadays!
Saosin are bearable, but nothing special. High And Driving and Audience Of One I haven't heard. The Sound Of Animals Fighting EP was amazing but the album was really pretentious and lacking.
Chiodos are the worst band ever.
Think you'd like 'em.
but the singer sounds like Anthony Green. Which is what i was getting at.
before Circa Survive were formed Anthony Green was Saosin's vocalist. I've never liked any of the stuff they've done without him though.
The day I met Anthony Green was possibley the best night of my life. And this new album is incredible, the drum parts are intense and it really flows well. So glad it didn't disappoint.
I realise the other bands i mentioned actually all feature/featured the man himself.
is fucking magnificent
downloaded it just off what people said in this thread, and you're all right. the first track is amazing, and it really works well as an album.
Juturna is magnificent
were recommended to me by a friend last night. Just downloading Juturna now.
pretty good!! last album had some quality songs on it!! much prefer these to the recieving ends of sirens!! which sound very similar!!!
I shall get this now.
Saw them when they supported Coheed and Cambria awhile back. Was very impressed then.
This album is brilliant. Loads of people complained that it was Juturna MkII, but I feel their previous release was such a fantastic record, it simply meant that a marked progression for their sophomore effort would be a difficult proposition.
Theyve improved upon a solid formula. Good on'em I say.
...and kudos to the guitar player continuing to play even after falling off the stage within the first 5 seconds
