good or bad?
i think.... bad.
apparently its very good.
lets hope so.
all too often turn into mystical hagiographical piles of horseshite.
see: The Doors.
documentaries always win.
apparently this isnt really about him or the music, more about how it had an effect on his marriage.
knows from reading his wifes book? hmm i dunno, just seems a bit pointless really. from everything i've read he seems like he was probably a bit of a prick, and no doubt the film will make him out to be poor ickle misunderstood ian, too good for this world!
I read this script a while ago and it was quite sympathetic towards his wife.
its filmed in nottingham.
people should never really read books. You end up like Ian Curtis and his tosser mates. I couldn't read more than one chapter of Touching From A Distance because everyone in it was an absolute cunt.
Mind, that film looks cracking. I am most looking forward to it.
He looked very very much like Curtis, and looks as though he did a better job than that idiot who played him in 24 Hour Party People.
He would have looked like him, had Ian been a cross between The Feeling's singer and a hamster.
I can't wait for this film.
the depiction of him in 24 hour party people, in terms of writing, but the actor who played him was a bit of a clown. He reminded me more of a member of Lords.
I did extra work on this film and I think it's going to be amazing. The guy that plays ian curtis depicts him really well and all the actors had to actually perform the songs not just imitate. The gig scenes were just like attending a show. Mint!
about it wants me to see it more than i originally did.
