Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin - Bardens - Friday June 8th
the wrong place to put this, I apologise. But there was a degree of confusion a couple of weeks back about whether this show was going to take place; hence, we want to inform as many people as possible that it's 100% confirmed at Bardens on Friday June 8th. It should be good and tickets are cheap (and going quickly):
Friday 8th June
Concentration Face present:
SOMEONE STILL LOVES YOU BORIS YELTSIN
Boris Yeltsin was a great man and so are this band. Hailing from Springfield, Missouri, USA the wonderfully named Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin are one of the finest melodic indie-rock bands in the world. They've earned themselves comparisons to The Shins, Weezer and Pavement and have become a word of mouth cult phenomenon in the United States. Their debut album 'Broom', released on iconic indie label Polyvinyl, is a melodic indie masterpiece, characterised by heart-warming melodies, subtle arrangements and the rare ability to be both feel good and deeply poignant. Destined to be huge, it's unlikely they will be playing an intimate venue like Bardens for much longer.

FAVOURS FOR SAILORS
Highly tipped London based indie-power-pop trio. 'Slanted and Enchanted'-era Pavement meets a power-pop Television. Ultra melodic, angular and tight and destined to go places - one of London's most exciting indie-rock bands.

4 or 5 MAGICIANS
Lo-fi indie rock at its best, think Guided By Voices, Pavement and Sebadoh. 4 Or 5 Magicians are one of Brighton's best new secrets.
