Chemical Brothers

dove_from_above [Edit] [Delete] 16:25, 21 May '07

I've never really taken the time to get into these properly. Kind of thing that would no doubt have been awesome way back when, but their newer stuff is kinda gash

MY FINGER, IS ON THE BUTTON

God I hated that song. But I've just heard their new one, Do It Again, and it's actually pretty cool. Plus, they have a song on their new album called The Salmon Dance, so I can't NOT love that

Their set at Fabric on Friday was actually incredible (what I heard anyway - I left half way through to go see Justice), and I'll be unwittingly following them around this summer at both Glastonbury and Bestival

So... thoughts? Like, not necessarily the newer radio-friendly guff but the older stuff

My uncle is/was a proper Glastonbury type in the early 90s. Dreadlocks, didge, the lot. Many a time we've got drunk together and he's eulogized lost nights off his face dancing to the beat of the Dust Brothers, Leftfield et al. So now I'm slightly intrigued...
