So after seeing DMST last week I've decided that I love trumpets more than anything for providing an uplifting melody in a song without vocals (I cannot sing). Does anyone here play trumpet? Is it an easy instrument to start playing - ie. will I be able to knock out a simple melody after a few weeks practice, or will I sound terrible without months of practice? Or should I just buy a new stereo instead?
