Absolute wank, isn't it?
"I met God and he had nothing to say to me!"
but I <3 Simon Neil muchly. :)
I almost idolise him. Almost.
And Rivers Cuomo.
That's what I get for putting MTV2 on every time there's ads on other channels.
...really shit video.
It's as if they spent the bulk of the budget fucking off to the States for Saturday Superhouse then realised they only had a relatively small budget left for the video for the main single for the album release.
where they are in a tunnel & all wet?
my housemate who listens to pop and r n b was singing along to it on the radio the other day.
That's how catchy it is, kids.
...but it still can't take away from the gash that is the video though.
It kinda reminds me of Slither by Velvet Revolver but on a budget - with a Jesus figure and 2 gingers instead of 2 skinny, scrawny bagheads and an alcoholic in a top hat.
oh dear oh dear
But, come on now - "Genius"? Really?
And the video is just terrible. What is this, their fourth album? And they're still doing crappy performance videos that show not an ounce of originality. A video doesn't have to be big budget to be interesting or have an engaging narrative
I've never ever been a Biffy fan and I thought Saturday Superhouse was fucking mint. Seriously, brill.
I've listened to the album a few times now though and it just feels pompous and a little too stadium. Almost like they were trying to make it painfully obvious that, yes, they've signed a deal with a major and no, they don't want to be a cult success anymore, they want it ALL.
Which is fair enough and good luck to them, they've worked harder than nearly every other band in this country and deserve it.
But it's just not for me.
The video? Well, it looks to me like the video did have quite a sizeable budget anyway. It's fucking atrocious though.
At the moment, you really can't fault Klaxons for great videos made on a budget.
that Biffy have made like '57' and 'Questions & Answers', it looks rubbish.
And they were DEFINITELY cheaper.
........filmed in Gloucester? Really??
