pitchfork says every date up until september is cancelled.
I was wanting to see them at Indian Summer in July. Just as well I was in a boxoffice yesterday when someone brought back their April ticket looking for a refund for a show shifted to October and I bought his ticket :p
Oh well, I suppose that's one less potential clash...
no royal festival hall :(
id forgotten about that :'(
I can't see howling bells being a massively good headliner
...to a family illness, so fair enough.
I was hoping there was going to be a "but we ripped you off" triple clash of Slint, Mogwai and EITS to see who people like best. But als no.
Still, I make that more flume time.
No EITS at Latitude for me then :(
And the act they were clashing with is... *shudders*... Damien Rice.
Looks like I'll be off to the comedy tent then.
clashed with wilco not damien rice. and comedy stops at 6.30pm apparently.
Wilco will do me fine. Happy days again!
i wasnt going to be able to see them.
is now just glastonbury....?
really, really sad to hear. Bad luck seems to follow this band around. I'm horrifically disappointed about missing them on July 10 too.
On that note, what's gonna happen with the Royal Festival Hall show? Am I entitled to get my money back unless Bella pull something ridiculous out of the bag like a Cocteau Twins reunion? Because frankly I don't want to pay a tenner to see Beach House play a support slot and then leave.
the gig has been pulled from the south bank / royal festival hall website ... so maybe it has been fully cancelled.
it was nowhere near sold out last time i checked, and without eits, it isn't going to sell a huge amount more tickets tbh.
my thoughts entirely
EITS were the weakest link of a post rock overdose
I hope everything goes well in regards to the family illness. Such a shame.
they're probably going to replace them with Amy Winehouse at latitude.
